for some reason the TLC has been showing tons of David Blaine tv specials lately, it's absolutely fantastic. today i watched him stand in a block of ice for a couple days, bring a dead pigeon back to life, use his magic to help a guy win $16oo on a scratch lottery ticket, and try to break the holding-one's-breath-underwater record. it was wonderful.
