happy earthday, everyone! as you may know, today, to celebrate earthday, Sun Chips has introduced a new, biodegradeable bag. i think that is way awesome. so yeah. go buy some Sun Chips.
also, a bunch of Invisible Children roadies came through Pocatello the last couple of days, and some of them stayed at our house! they did a screening at the church i volunteer at, and it was way hecka awesome. i definitely recommend going to one of their screenings or housing the roadies for a nite if you can. you can learn more about the organisation and their screening dates at http://invisiblechildren.com.
oh, and another thing: i will be going on short hiatus. i will not post another comic until a little bit into the month of may. i am sorry. but yeah, i will let you know when i post again if you follow me on the facebook or the twitter, and there should be a new comic within the first few days of May.

here's the new comic! this one goes out to National Record Store Day this last saturday! it was amazing! me and matt went to the Budget Tapes and Records and i bought a Weezer cd, called the "Raditude... Have a Great Record Store Day" EP. it's awesome. they do a slow, piano-only cover of Green Day's "Brain Stew" on it. also, matt got a record of The Bird and the Bee covering Hall and Oates, it's way awesome.

and for everyone who cares, this is my D&D character! as you can see, i named his way-cool lute Rosaline. also, i feel like his left arm is a little wonky, but for the most part, i really like how this turned out.

this comic is dedicated to erin tetreault, who basically said the "motel baby" line, but she said it after working at Schlotzski's Deli for 9 months, so it sounded a lot less shady for her, what with having a Shlotzski's baby instead of a motel baby.

me and my brother and our friend sam lyle played some Dungeons and Dragons while he was in town for his spring break, and it was amazing. i'm really looking forward to him coming back for the summer so we can play some more. it's awesome. i even drew some pictures of my character, and i named his lute [he's a bard]. i might put up said pictures like next week, i'm not sure.

if you want to listen to the song, here's a video of me playing it! i wrote it while reading the book Redwall, and kind of a lot of the lines are pretty much just quotes from the novel. also, the end of the book really isn't my favourite, because Matthias and Cornflower's relationship is almost forgotten and you hardly get to read about it at all for like the last hundred pages.

and you may notice that i put up the chords for the song. if you want to do a cover of it, i'd love to hear it. here are the words for the second and third verses:

the first time we saw Cluny the Scourge with his single fearsome eye
you lay your head on my shoulder and though there were bad times ahead, it was my favourite nite yet
he may think that you're a pretty one for him, but i will never let him in, oh no.
i'd give my life for this abbey and for you, oh i will never let you go

then you sing the chorus
verse 3:
i'm sorry i left without telling you where i'd gone, it was wrong of me to do that
but for you, i'm like an old bad penny, i always come back
with your gently paw intertwined with mine,
i will tell you that it will all be fine
and as you walk away, i watch and think to myself,
wouldn't it be nice, if she were my wife... someday

and you end with the chorus.

me and matt talked about starting the genre Rockwall a while ago, and i really liked the idea, so i saved it for a few months.

also, probably next year i'll have to do something for April Fool's Day, because i absolutely love it when websites do stuff for this holiday. have you seen xkcd today? it's amazing! also the blog Geek Orthodox (which i've been mentioned on before! rock n roll!) is all decked out, it's wonderful. so yeah, i'll think about it for next year.

oh! and another thing. i don't know if you've noticed, but i put a new link to the webcomic DAR down below, and it's meant for adults, but really, it was one of the most amazing reads ever for me. if you get a chance, you really should read it. oh my goodness, it's amazing.
